Scotty Cameron lenght?

Hi all i would like to buy a Scotty Cameron putter newport 2 and the place where they do have one is 35 in length and i am almost 5'10 tall , i think 34 would be best for me , should i wait for a 34 or go for 35 thanks?

34 should be weighted at 340 grams. 35 should be 330 grams on the non-select (without the weights) versions...I believe they are 10 grams heavier with the weights. Depends what you like in putter headweight. Try em both and then make your decision.

i thought the head would weight the same either 34 or 35 inches?

It depends, most putters out there on the used market are 330g heads that were sold at 35". They may have been cut down, but still have 330g heads. If they were sold new as 33" or 34", it will be engraved on the putter head and the weights will be 350g or 340g respectively.

For the new putters, the Select and California lines, Cameron changed the weight/length standard and made the heads 10g heavier for each length. They now come 33/360, 34/350 and 35/340.

well thanks for the info i think 34 will be best suited for me i prefer the head heavier,
