Here's a video of the race. The announcement is not in English, but the action speaks for itself.

next is breaking 9.5 - I think he can do it, he's not in the best shape right now, he's only 23, it wasn't a fast track and his start was good but not great.

I think that he can, and will, go lower than 9.5. Just look at him as he nears the finish. He's looking to his left. He still has more in the tank. If only someone else could push him (no one is in his league right now), then he would have to give it his max. Now that would be something historic to see.

you also need to be able to make quick cuts, something he has never trained to do...requires a whole different set of skills and muscles.

no cuts, just a deep ball every time.

Ron Brown who was on the US Gold medal relay team went on to have long career with the Rams in 80's. He was used mostly as kick off return though. It was exciting to see him burn through the coverage. They did pointed out he didn't have that quick cut on the route... he did average two catches per game with 20 yards per catch!! Bolt with pads and helmet on would probably look a lot like Randy Moss! He's already got the end zone celebration worked out!

Given the defence's limited right to interfere with receivers off the line, by the time Bolt was 10 yards downfield, no one would catch him. The only solution would be for the safeties to sit back a bit deeper which should open up the short route for other receivers. If I owned a team, I'd want to gauge his interest and abilities. On the other hand, why would a man of his talent, who is clearly being well paid for his accomplishments, and isn't being banged around by other runners, want to subject himself to the continual assaults that are part and parcel of football? He'd have to be nuts. Would that he were! Now that would be great Sunday theatre.

The simplest strategy would be to put the guy on his ass at the line of scrimmage. Line up a linebacker against him and he'd never get upfield.
The other issue is this: wouldn't he outrun the QB's arm? There's a certain point at which the advantage gained by speed is negated because the receiver has to slow down to even have a chance at catching the ball on the run...and there are already plenty of receivers who are at that point. He might just be too fast to be effective.
