    Personal Best

While the first half of this season was agony and my cap went up from 19.8 to a high of 23.5, things have been looking up. In the last 2 months ( June5th to now) I have dropped my handicap from that 23.5 down to a currnet all time low of 16.4.

And today I had a personal best of 82 (45-37) at Mountain Creek.

    I am ecstatic.

Well done. Imagine how you'll feel next week when you break 80 for the first time.

Nice going Reza, your swing never fit that 20 cap anyway. You take Chris down straight up yet? If not it's only a matter of time.

Thanks guys. Things are coming together nicely. And I owe a lot of it to playing regularly with Chris (Gropper) this year. He is such a good ball striker and has great tempo. His tempo is starting to rub off on me.

With today's round I was so engrossed in the match against Tim(OutOfTheRough) that I had no idea what I was shooting until I looked at the card after my round was finished.

And I tell you, I really had to concentrate playing Tim. On the 18th, a 363 yard par 4, his tee shot was pin high, just outside of the fringe.

And yeah, I did take Gropper down straight up.

LOL...go back and read a few of my posts from earlier this year. Reza, I knew you had it in you to shoot like that. It's only a matter of time til you're giving me strokes.

Congrats Reza for the pb. Definitely was fun back and forth. Even though I hit the ball far it didn't help me on the 17th hole !! (damn tree). Good luck in the final!!
