New to Ottawa, looking to play some golf!

Hey!

My name is Steve. I'm moving to Ottawa in September and I'm curious what the golf scene is like there. If anyone has any advise on courses to check out I'd appreciate it. I'm just getting back into golf this year after about a 4 or 5 year hiatus. I don't know anyone in Ottawa yet, so it'd be great to find some golfing buddies.

This is the place to find playing partners for sure. Just check the "Arranage A Game" threadss and you'll find someone to play with almost anytime.
As for courses, check the feature courses section, as there are many choices for all golfers. Opinions will differ on course conditions and such, but with over 130 courses within an hours drive, you really cant go wrong!

Welcome to the forum Steve and to Ottawa! Ottawa is blessed with an abundance of golf courses, some great, some not so great but they are still golf courses!

I second NoBack's comments about the 'arrange a Game' section, plenty of golfing buddies to be found there (some great, and some not so great but they are still buddies)

Oh and NoBack is one of the 'animals' you should not feed!
