no need to apologize. Wouldn't be any fun if everyone cheered for the same team. I mean, the primary reason for watching football is to gloat, isn't it?

The Pats eeked out another victory today. Given all of the injuries that plague the team, they are not doing badly at alll. If they keep this up, Brady may have enough time to recapture his skills of old. They're certainly not there right now. He is not passing with his former precision, especially so when he is on the run. That said, he is getting the job done.

What a gong show of a day. Tennessee, wow. Miami, yep. Cincy, what the hell? Oakland, an embarrassment to the league. St. Louis too. Manning, best QB all-time, just amazing, sorry Joe. Eli, grudgingly accept he's growing as a QB. Singletary, coach of the 1st quarter. Denver, the team with the golden horseshoe this year (yes, pun intended). Jets, still a team to watch. Baltimore too. Way too early for bye weeks. Proline, unsuccessful this weekend. That is all.

proline crashed and burned with the Bungles. However, I enjoyed seeing the look on Sanchez' face every time he threw a pick or fumbled. He was dazed and confused. Welcome to the NFL rookie!

I was 12-2 today... not going so good tonight. San Diego +6½ but they can't stop anything.
Lost on the Titans (-3½) and Bengals (-6½)If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

Good picking Weazl... and the Steelers tonightIf you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

Only 14 games this week fellas, so unless your real life names are Kreskin you're only 10-2. And I didn't feel the need to point that out just because I am jealous and bitter at my own 7-5 record so far weekend, I swear it's purely coincidental....I do have the Steelers though...

Tonight's game between the Vikings, led by Favre, and his old team the Packers should be a great game. There is no love lost between these two teams and Favre's defection to their neighbouring state will heat up the animosity.

It will be quite the atmosphere, but nowhere near what it will be if Favre plays IN Green Bay. I would not be surprised in the least if that's the game that ends his ironman streak.

Green Bay will win tonight, allowing my beloved 3-1 Bears to quietly slip into a tie for 1st in the NFC North.

The question is whether his arm can hold out for a whole season.

Easily as he hands off more than he throws. 8 out of the first 12 plays ( or something like that ) were all runs last night.
He should eb fine!Lots of yoga pants these days, not enough Yoga!

Now that that game is over, next topic... Should the Titans start Vince Young and see what they have or stay with Collins?

I'd wait a week and start him on the road first. He's probably still pretty fragile and if he didn't do well, at least he wouldn't have the home fans on his case straight away.

WTH is wrong with Vince Young? I swear i never understood why he lost his job in the first place, why he went awol, suicide, I must have missed Sportscenter the week it happened. He was winning games even though he was a Mike Vick clone who couldn't throw the ball. Anyways, the problem with the Titans has nothing to do with offense, they can't stop anybody. I guess Haynesworth really was the heart of that defense. They are pathetic on D right now.

Yes Vince had a mental breakdown. He got better but when Steve McNair was killed it was really hard on him. McNair was like a father to him.
I don't think that Collins is the answer for anything. Bring the young QB and see how it goes.If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

The Jets just ruined their season by signed T.O. Version#2, Braylon Edwards.

Some huge lines on the early proline. Giants are -16.5 and we don't know if Manning will play. Philly is -14.5 against Tampa, with Philly coming off their bye week.
Right now I love Buffalo -6.5 against Cleveland.Donny Vantage NFL Guru, since 1974

so much for two running backs being better than one. Marshawn Lynch ruined Fred Jackson's mojo.

This is Cameron Wake's world, we are just living in it. Dolphins are taking down the Jets this weekend!
I hope.
