Looking to have some insulation work using the spray cellulose and wondering if anyone has any companies to recommend? Thanks.

Jordan...
call Tod King @ Kinlar. http://www.kinlar.ca/
they will likely be doing my house soon. Tod is great, good prices, will answer all your questions and no pressure at all. Tell him I sent you there. I can't say enough good things about their pre-sales support. The exact opposite of just about every contractor I have ever dealt with.I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Thanks Jeff, ahhhh there's so many choices and options to weigh, blown fiberglass, blown cellulose, sprayed Poly foam which seems to be the best but is also much more expensive than anything else.

I'd like to get R50 to qualify for the rebate through the audit I had done. We're having our main attic done as well as the small attic over our addition onto the back of the house, basically another living room.

funny, I called like 7 places and got calls back from 2 of them. Kinlar was the cheapest by a good margin and the other guys didn't even seem interested in doing the work.

not sure, what are you trying to have done? you could always call them. I got my basement done by them a couple of weeks ago and it is awesome. I can already feel the difference down there.

John, you're a fit young lad, rent the machine (I rented one at the local home hardware where I also bought the bags of cellulose), get a buddy and a couple 2 way communicators and do it your self! One guy keeps the machine's hopper full of cellulose, while the other guy (you) climbs into the attic & starts blowing. Wear a respirator, and a headlamp: its dusty & dark up there. best of luck.
