Oversize putter grips - pros and cons

I know they are suppose to help keep your wrists from beaking and help with the death grip pressure.
Any cons? Besides trying to fit it in the bag

When it comes to putters it's all about feel for me.

If the putter doesn't feel comfortable in my hands I won't putt well with it. Whenever I have tried the oversize grips and they fail the comfort test.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

I asked Golfworks about it as well and one thing you should consider they said is the SW of the putter. The jumbo grips will make the putter handle heavy and you may want to experiment with adding some weight elsewhere to make the putter "feel" like it did prior to installing the larger grip.

    Good point!
I was checking the weight of the jumbo putter grips compare to the standard and it could be about a 50g difference. Would this act like a counter weight? You know, when they add a weight down the top shaft of the putter.

I am not sure, best ask that question in the clubmakers forum, you will certainly find an answer there.
