Sports Expert Drivers
I was looking at the clubs for sale at Sports Experts yesterday and saw a number of reasonably priced oversized drivers. Like $100-$200 clubs on sale for $30-$50. A lot of Dunlop models. Any one have any experience with dunlop drivers? I can't really compare since you can't test them out before you buy.
The other thing I noticed was that a few of them had no groove lines or anything on the sweet spot of the clubface?! Is that common?

They are decent drivers for the price, but that's about it... nothing to write home to mother about.
Grooveless faces are becoming increasingly common on the newer drivers.
There are a number of models with no grooves on the face whatsoever. Grooves really make little difference on a club with as low a loft as most drivers.
