    Kid Friendly Courses near Perth

    Can anyone recommend a course near Perth that is appropriate for kids?

    We've got a family cottage event organised for two weeks hence and my brothers would like to play a round with their sons, all aged ~12 years.

    Probably obvious to people here, but I'm looking for:

    1. Easy / Forgiving
    2. Cheap
    3. Ideally pretty quiet & laid back on a Tuesday afternoon.

    Assuming you're looking for an 18-hole regulation course, I would recommend either Mapleview near Perth or Lombard Glen near Smiths Falls. Both are very affordable and forgiving (I'm assuming the kids will play from the red tees).

    There is also a 9-hole course in Smiths Falls called Donneybrooke and a par-3 course in Carleton Place called Carlbeck.

    Rideau Lakes in Westport is a fun 9 hole course with no real hazards to speak of.
