GolfWorks’ CER 851
Got this from clubmaking Wire. Has anybody tried these irons yet? They claim that these irons are getting rave reviews from golfers and clubmakers and it may be so. Anyway check them out.

I was up at Golfworks this afternoon.
I didn't get to hit the CER851, as they didn't have an assembled demo club in the shop, but I hit a few balls with an MXO 6-iron. Man, what a solid hitting club.
Not something for working the ball, by any means... If you can get the club head to make contact with the ball, it's gonna get up, and go straight!
Gonna be real nice to put a set in my bag, cuz I can use all the help I can get!
I also hit a few balls with the Maltby Xtreme X2 (also a 851+ MPF) as I'd been looking at both, and trying to make a decision, but it's nowhere near as solid an forgiving as the MXO.
Hoping to get a chance to take both of them out on the course soon to get a better feel and really make sure the MXO is the one.

BTW, while the article you linked to says "CER851 3C", the "two-piece hybrid combo" head they describe is actually the CER701+ 3C . The CER 851 iron is actually an undercut muscle back (UM) style.
It'd be interesting to know which head they are really talking about. The "CER851 UM", or the "CER701+3C"
