    Geant or Diable

Just got a call from BOB FM, I am the proud new owner of a twosome at Geant or Diable. I have never played or even seen either of them. Which is the better course or are they equally enjoyable and I should just flip a coin and go?

    Congrats - Great Prize!!

Id go with Le Geant...... Le Diable has many fairway and waste bunkers to avoid and it may sour your round. Not that Le Geant is eay but .....

    They are both ok courses.

Geant costs less to play (no gps), so play Diable (gps).

I played Geant Tues, it is currently a mushy mess though, cart path only, and wet everywhere, 6+ hours for a round.

Not sure why Geant was so bad as I played LeMaitre Wed and it was fine.

It dpeneds what you want, Le Diable is a more forgiving course in that you will not lose many balls although they may often be in a waste bunker. Le Geant is narrower and has many difficult and tighter holes. I always thought le Diable is a more premium course and the GPS is cool, you can enter your HC and your score etc..

I prefer Geant to Diable but would have no problem playing either. Conditions would drive which one I would play.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Played both two weeks ago. Diable is in much better shape !
Follow the GPS instructions and hit where the fairways are wider !
Waste bunkers or bunkers will ruin your round !

Too many uneven lies at Le Geant.
You drive in the fairway and you're ball ends up in the rough (rough is long with all this rain !)
Got to see some deers though... very close too !

    Have fun !

Thanks very much for all the replies. I like the sound of Diable (GPS, condition etc). Will just have to give Geant a whirl some other time.
    Thanks again.
