    Glen Abbey

So I am heading down to Glen Abbey for the Canadian Open. I've never been there before. Never watched mens pro golf either. I did see the CN Open for women and it was great. Question for all that have been at Glen Abbey.

Where is the best viewing area to catch the most action? My parents and I will likely follow a certain group for awhile but when they get tired we need a cool spot to watch all the golfers go through.

At huntclub we sat near 11-14 I think. We got to watch approaches, greenside chips, putting and driving. It was perfect. Still can't get Natalie Gulbis bunker shot out of my head. MMMMmmmm!

Can't tell you how excited I am to go there. Should be awesome!

It depends on what you like to see. Some spots I like:

1st tee - you can also see the par-3 3rd, if you get the right spot.
3rd green - again, you can also see the 1st tee.
15th tee - you can also see the 14th green.
15th green - great little par 3 to see if they can get it close.
16th fairway - I think there is a spot near the landing area where you can see back to the tee and also see the green.
18th tee - there is a knoll to the right, where, with binoculars, you can watch the entire finishing hole, and see them putting out - this is a standing position.

    11-15 are in the valley.

Early rounds you can follow groups fairly well - I use those to scope out my spots for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday, you need to pick your spots. If you want the 18th green Sunday, I suggest you settle in early and watch them all finish.

    Thanks Sharkshooter.

We are only going for the Sunday round. With the info you provided we should be set.
