    Need some shaft help

I've been playing a Pro Launch Red at 291 CPM which is too stiff for me when I'm not hitting it well. I'm looking for a shaft with tight dispersion and low torque. Mid launch is best. Let me know if you've found a shaft with these specs that you have had some success with. Thanks for the help.

It is not a shaft. It is a steel rod. 291 at 45 inches is a XX stiff. Are you a LD competitor? No wonder no do not like the feel.

You may want to consider the rombax series (fujikura) of shafts. They are tight dispersion, low torque, and dont feel boardy. The latest generation are the w,x and z series, for medium, high, and low launch respectively. Wonderful feel to them, even in stiff.

Need to know more about yourself. Your best bet is to go see a pro fitter who has different shafts for you to try. But since this is online tell me your swing speed, ball speed, ball flight,(fade? draw? Low? High?)

I've hit about 15 drivers this weekend and I wasn't amazed by anything. I work it both ways, flight is high even though I play a 7.5*. SS is about 121 but I want to bring it down a bit to hit more fairways.
