Who's playing tomorrow? What condition is the course in, greens -fairways etc? The OVGA office told me there are only 3 spots to get into the Tunis ............hmmm whats with that???

I wouldn't knock it as pre 2003 there was no Tunis qualifier and no extra Tunis spots available.

Almost all spots are determined via past performance in various designated tournaments over 18 months across the entire Golf Quebec region and the TQ allows for a little more local representation. Last year 11 local players got into the Tunis via this qualifier as there were fewer Tunis entrants than expected, but it took SUB PAR scores to do it.

These 4 got their entry paid last year due to there finish.

They let in 7 more with scores of 71 but they had to pay there own way.

The first 4 paid the Tunis qualifier entty fee while the others paid the full Tunis entry fee. But, at least they got in which was the goal.

Any results yet? What was low round? what did it take to get into the Tunis?

Hey Joe, 68 was the low round by a guy from the host club, one 71 and four 72's all got in to the Tunis. Great day although a little slow for the back half of the field after a few rulings on #8. Weather was near perfect.
