    Golfworks prices

I went to get some grips today, Winn Excel and they had gone from $4.30 to $6.20 since the last time I bought them which was probably late last fall. Anyone see any massive price increases there?
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Most grips went up in price recently because of oil prices. I usually buy from the discount/discontinued bins.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

The prices went up in February because our dollar was $.78 at the time. At least that's the reason they gave me.

Jeff. They have a price matching policy. Find the best price and bring it to them.

So shouldn't they be headed the other way now, like aways once it goes up don't matter what the dollar is it is not coming down.

they used to be the cheapest place to get grips. They might still be if everyone else raised their prices. Unless there is a better place in town, at $6.20 a grip, they are still the cheapest.

Well they are the cheapest price out there and all you have to do is drive down there and pick them up instead of driving for miles to get them from another place..or even orderering from other places and paying shipment,,but each to own for everyone. Plus they are like everyone else the bought their stock at the beginning of the year when the dollar was trading at .78 previously mentioned..like car dealership,Box stores, and all other facilities. Certain people think the price should automatically change each day!!!!! I do not hear anyone complaining about the GAS they put in their car and how bad we are getting screwed that way...
