There's something in the works with the Sharks, based on the rumours going around all the hockey forums. Sharks need to clear space first, and perhaps pick up a player to throw into the deal...Montreal might come into the mix. The Sharks have been rumoured to be after Kessel on and off, and I still think there's a possibility that they could sign him and ship him off to Ottawa. I don't think Heatley will be here in the fall.

I'm glad Murray said no to Cheechoo. 12 goals last year or something along those lines? Yes, he won the Rocket Richard trophy with 56 three years ago, but if there was ever a flash in the pan, this might well be it.

I have to say that I am more than a bit sympathetic to the opinion expressed in this commentary. Mr. Heatley should honour his contract and do his job. It's as simple as that.
