good miniputt in Ottawa
Looking for a good miniputt for young kids in the east/central or Hull part of town?
I've been to Capital and it's terrible, Innes Road Golfland is OK. The best I've tried so far has been 19th tee but it is a bit far for my taste.
thanks

my 2 oldest kids played minigolf gardens Friday night and said it was rundown, the holes are such that anything close drops into the cup because of the ground settling , and there are ""collection areas" on most holes, again, from settling. They were not impressed.

..but it is very challenging putting with your hands vibrating from the EMF from the nearby power tower...I wouldn't take my kids there..just me.
Beside 19th Tee , most of the miniputt places are a really bad...bumpy, sand, dirt....Not worth the 4-5 bucks they are charging...
But I guess it's just miniputt..I rather take the kids to the short games areas and whack around the sand trap )

There's a new one in orleans that they've labelled as a "professional miniputt" it's called "the Game" on Mer Bleu rd. here's the site: http://www.thegamepmg.com/main.php it looks pretty intense for a miniputt coruse.

New indoor miniputt opening in Bells Corners April 2010
There is a new indoor miniputt opening in Bells Corners this April (2010) that's glow-in-the-dark with another venue called a "Balladium" (essentially a room with 10 air-cannons you can shoot nerf sized balls at targets for points or each other for fun). They have party-rooms and other fun events for the whole family.
Grand opening is April 3rd 2010.

the 19th tee on carling near Moodie is very kid friendly.
Even wack a small bucket after with provided light blue clubs.
In the adult world nothing quite beats the 16th hole at Nation Golf !!!

Miniputt Navan Road
I drive by this course on a regular basis and the flags are in place. I think it is open but nobody seems to know about it. Innis Road miniputt is always busy but it does not compare to the one on Navan road. Have played it once and quite enjoyed it.

19th Tee on Carling has a HUGE driving range and also 18-hole mini putt. It's definitely a little older but a classic. Lots of animal obstacles for the kids, colored golf balls, the works!

I also second the one in Chelsea. Its incredible and seems to be a lot of fun for the familly.

Ok all this mini putt talk is making me nostalgic for the "Michael Jordan" of the Quebec pro miniputt. Carl Carmoni.

Well if you guys are looking for something new, we got as new as you can get just east of Ottawa! Its called Oasis and its in Limoges. And if anyone knows Mr. Carmoni, I wouldn't mind inviting him over for a game haha.
