Hey everyone,

Let me introduce myself ... Brewskie19.

I am a 36 year old male who after 18 years away from the game (played softball) started playing golf again last summer exclusively.

Grew up on the Gatineau side, have now lived in Kanata for 5 years.
Don't have any friends who play, plus I live far enough away from all my old friends anyway. I started a group at work that goes out every 2 weeks using the Red Book.
That has allowed me to get out more. Probably have been out at least 7 times already this year.

I play around 95 at this time, played 92 earlier this week at Greensmere.
A 10 on the Gold #7 prevented me from getting into the 80's.
Sometimes I'll play 105, never much worse than that.
My goal is to get to 86 by the end of the summer.

I plan on watching the "Arrange Game" area and plan to take a lot of you up on your offers. I am interested in playing some of the private courses that some of you may be members at ... Eagle Creek, Kanata, Haute Plains, also interested in Loch March, Stonebridge etc....

Currently, my favourite courses are Greensmere & Anderson Links.

Interesting Fact about me: My brother in law is one of the golf pro's at Glen Abbey.

Got a chance to play Kanata last year with him, I definitely want another shot at it!

Welcome to the forum! I played Greensmere earlier this week as well. I normally play the Corporate Golf courses but do cheat now and then as I live 2 min from Greensmere - it's just too convenient.

I'm a Kanataite as well and I try to get out at least once a week. I like the courses around the Kanata area like The Marshes, Loch March, Greensmere, Glenmar, Pakenham etc.

I'm often looking for a guy or two to round out a foursome and I hope that you join us sometime soon - that is as long as you don't mind having to play with Indio - he isn't that bad once he has a sniff around your......well, you'll see soon enough
