Where can I rent a Bobcat?

Got a ton of soil I need to move, THIS weekend. Where can I rent a bobcat, or something along the same lines. It would take about 100 trips with a wheelbarrow and can't do that with the old arthritis.

    Donny,

Any of the larger rent-all places should have Bobcats for rent.

You don't need a permit for something this small - the guy who delivers it should give you a rundown on the controls before turning you loose.

IIRC, there's a $50 delivery fee on top of the actual rental, but that's peanuts... You'll probably be looking at around $300 for a weekend - find a neighbor to split it with you and go to town.

The most fun I've had in recent memory was renting a mini-excavator (just like the big boys, but small enough to drive around your yard in) with a bud. He needed a new outhouse pit and a trench to run some wiring to a bunkie and the garage/workshop... His cottage lot is about 2 acres and I swear that I dug the whole thing up before he managed to stop me... Them things are addictive! LOL

In fact, I've been itching to rent one again, just for fun... busy trying to convince LOML that we need a koi pond or a swimming pool or just a great big hole in the back yard....

    Cheers!

    Gary

Robertson Rentals on Innes Road in Orleans will rent you (and deliver if you need) a Trencher (trench digging machine).

    Cheers!

P.S. The damage done to the ground resembles my golfing anyway...
