What swing weight should I choose?
I dont' have time to get fit as I need a new set of irons asap. Chief is putting the set together for me and said he would SW match them. He said he could MOI them as well but I don't see the point as I don't have a fav club to match it to and swing all my clubs equally badly. SO, without seeing my swing and knowing that I hit a 6i 170 yards, hit the ball to high... can someone recommend a SW for me? even if its just a best guess i'm ok with that. better than not matching at all in case I want to resell right? should I just go standard?

If there were some irons you hit well in the past perhaps you could see what the SW was for those and use that.

Go with C-4. You'll be bombing them.

Make sure if you use C-4 that it is mostly in the tip and not the butt, that could be disastrous.

Dooooode... C4 is dynamite....
Some people are like Slinkies... they're really good for nothing, ... but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs...

Seriously (for a minute), does anybody really care about swing weight anymore?
I am under the (perhaps mistaken) impression that it was a silly ploy that made little or no difference (except in conversation), and had gone the way of the Dodo.
Is it just me?
Cheers!

It was one way of matching feel throughout the set. MOI matching requires the same effort with all clubs. I would not discard sw just yet as good players have scored very well using sw matched clubs. In the end I would recommend practicing within 80 yards more than I would recommend either sw or MOI

B12 is by far superior than any other out there. Ask Roger C

I think most men's sets are assembled with a target swingweight of d-2.
