If the ball is buried, he then grounds his club a few times and it becomes visible, I would say yes.
Lots of yoga pants these days, not enough Yoga!

I think that this is a camera angle thing. When he grounded his club the grass behind, but not immediately behind the ball was flattened allowing us to see the ball better. Watch the ball, it doesn't appear to move at all so I can't see how there is an infraction there

scott the ball doesn't have to move... you can improve your lie without moving the ball which he clearly did here. what a cheater. he stole that move from me

It depends on whether the spot where he pressed his club to the ground was in "the area of his intended swing" or not. It doesn't look to be directly behind the ball, but you really can't tell from that camera angle nor do you really know where the hole is (which I presume is where he would be aiming). I think the ruling would ultimately come down to the determination on the "area of his intended swing", and you really would have to be there to make a ruling on that.

even if he had broken a rule, are they really going to take the win away from him after the fact? doubt it. maybe they said, dude you are a cheater but we don't want the bad publicity.. don't do it again and you should be ashamed of yourself, get the hell out of my office

I don't think he's "pressing" the club down, he's simply checking out the lie. Perfectly legal. Nothing to see here.
