    Question rounds played

Now that the year is almost but over, let's see how many rounds were played this year. At the begining of the year there was a poll on how many times you played a year. Did you meet or exceed your estimates. Let's see .............

81 - Almost as many as last year. As usual I played best in October, and ran out of holes

    Thumbs up

    50+

You ran out of holes, I ran out of balls!!!
    50 rounds= 900 holes=900 drives=100 lost balls on drives
50 rounds= 900 holes=900 approach shots=84 balls lost in the lake by the green
    50 rounds=1800 putts=After 1800 putts why the hell can't I sink a 12 footer to save par??
    50 rounds=6500yds x 50=184 miles looking for 184 lost balls
    Number of balls found=4
Average score after playing for 200 hours and 4650 strokes=93
Score (on a bet) after using nothing but my 7 iron and a putter=95
Number of balls lost on above round=0

    JW

Seriously though, math-boy would like to thank Dan & OGC for either
    a) Saving me $600.00 plus tax on 50 rounds, or
    b) providing me with 20 rounds free

Depends which way you look at it. Now, with the savings, I can either join the OAC for 2 yrs free or get 20 hours of lessons free.

    math - boy?????

    Seriously math-boy..............

I did the math and it seems to me that the 100 lost balls on drives + the 84 balls lost in lakes by greens + the I cant putt inside 12 feet for par = 20 hours of lessons to me!

    Could'nt resist!

But glad to see you take it all in fun!

Played over 50 rounds this year, plus another 20 or so 9's on men's night, plus another 5 or so tournaments. This is my most ever, hope next year is better.

    Rounds Played

As of today, November 18, I have played 1921 holes, an equivalent of 106.7 rounds. Most ever in 40 years, and as long as there is no snow on the ground, we'll keep on playing.

    It's great to be retired!!!

    Thumbs up Rounds played

I now have 120 rounds entered in the computer plus a bunch of tournaments, plus my March games in the Caribbean, plus a number of 9 holes for probably 140 rounds. Can't wait until I retire in another year. Hopefully we'll still get a few more in this year before the dreaded white stuff flies. Maybe natgolfer and I will have to do a bit of snow golf.
