Face balancing a putter
On a couple of occasions, I have ben asked to replace grips on putters that are Face balanced. (one is a Titleist, the other an older Callaway). In both cases, replacements for the original grips are not available on the market.
After installing the grip, the balancing seems to be off by a few degreed (usually Toe heavy).
Cannot seem to figure a simple and effective method of adding weight to restore the face balancing. Any suggestions ?If you bury my ashes on a golf course, just make sure that they are out of bounds, that will be a natural continuation to my life
