Anyone watch Lost? My brain short circuited.
IF YOU HAVE THIS ON YOUR PVR AND HAVEN'T WATCH YET, STOP READING!!!!!!!!
Anyone else watch this show??? Holy tapioca pudding, it was insane Wednesday night!!!!! I think I could watch it 30 more times and notice something new every time. Jacob and nameless dude in black? Good/evil? The John Locke thing? I mean holy cow, didn't see that coming at all! The biblical/mythological references are wild! The writers should come out with a book after next season (the final season) that really goes into depth explaining things. I would fork out the money to read that.Donny Vantage NFL Guru, since 1974

You don't think your husband will mind?
I've watched the Finale twice already and I'm probably going to watch it again today. They introduce Jacob like 2 years ago and now hammer us with info about him all in one episode. I love this show, and can't wait to see the significance of his "death" and the white "LOST" on black background switching to Black on White instead.Let's put a Smile on that Face!

Journeyman was great, or at least had the potential to be great. I wish some of these networks weren't so short sighted.

Agreed on Journeyman. It was like Quantum Leap, but with a twist.
If we're talking shortsighted, I'm really PO'd that both Reaper and Life aren't going to be back next season. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

At least those two shows got past the half-season break of their first season.
If I recall correctly, they stuck Journeyman in the 10pm slot on a Monday night. It's rather hard for a show to get a solid base in that slot, you get the curious people with DVR's there.Let's put a Smile on that Face!

It's too bad they still rate based solely on the live viewers, but I guess they are the only ones who actually see the commercials.
Journeyman was great. As was Life on Mars.Life dinnae come wit gimmies so yuv got nae chance o' gitt'n any from me.

If we're talking about bad network decisions...how did they ever cancel Arrested Development?

I've watched it since the beginning.
There are so many loose ends to tie up that they will need a book to do it.
But it still is the most interesting show on TV. It's too bad that mostly mindless TV viewers didn't have the attention span to watch it from the start.

I started to watch Lost from season one in November. We were hocked instantly. We watched 3-4 episodes on DVD per week. We finally caught up on episode 9 of season 5. This was the only episode I watched live. Could not handle the suspense and then wait a week for another 45 minutes. I waited until the last episode was done with and then watched it on DVD. Finished it yesterday evening. It was intense for sure.
I thought that it was over. Isn’t it over? No season 6 since blowing up the swan (SP?) would have reversed everything? Unless that’s what actually triggers the chain of events. It comes back to the fact that what is done is done and nothing can be changed.
My thought where exactly that on Jacob. God and the devil. But what I found odd was why does Jacob want strangers on the island while the back dude supposedly the devil doesn’t want anyone on it? One other thing, I’m guessing the monster is the black dude since it persuaded Ben to follow Locke and kill Jacob.
The question is will or won’t there be a season 6?

Season 6 will be the final season.
You are correct, good vs. evil, destiny vs. choice, science vs. faith, has been a huge part of the plot of this show right from the pilot episode. I don't think Esau was trying to keep people from the island, he needs people to come to prove that he's right in his belief that all people are inherently bad, where Jacob thinks that there is good in everyone given the choice (look at Rose & Bernard).
I have no idea what they're going to give us in the first 5 minutes of season 6, but I'm leaning toward them waking up in the past (well the past of present time, because its relative) and remembering everything from the future/past. Not sure how that would play out to wrap up the series though.Let's put a Smile on that Face!
