Detroit over Carolina in an all red final. Looking forward to seeing Eric and Jordan duke it out.

I predicted Anaheim vs. Carolina at the start of the playoffs, so I am going to have to stick with Carolina to beat Detroit in the finals.

But if I picked with my head, I would have to say Detroit.

I would now like to see Chicago win the Cup. Bolland and Kane are former London Knights so it would be fun to see them win the Cup. Bolland has a Memorial Cup ring so adding another ring would be awesome to see.

Watching the Stall brothers go head to head in the East Final will be fun too.

At least we do not have to stay up late to watch the upcoming series.
My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

This year might not be their year but I really, really like that young team in Chicago - they really remind me of the Oilers from the 80's

I can tell you who the league would at least like to see in the finals, Chicago and Pittsburgh.

Crosby, Malkin, and Staal against Toews, Kane, and Byfuglien. The dream match-up from a US marketing perspective.
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

    detroit leading poll

Osgood may be on a mission to prove he is a tier 1 goalie, but I think his time is done. I think that is about the only weak link in Detroit, but its a fatal one.

If you look at the goalies, I really like Pens chances.

If you go only by goalies, Carolina is top of the heap. Osgoode is the same goalie he was last year when he won the cup, and the same goalie he was the other 2 times he won the cup. Maybe he's not an elite goalie, but he knows how to win.

I had a Boston Chicago Final. So my I`ll have to go with the Hawks, but the Pens look good right now.

It's amazing how many people disrespect Osgood. If he really was a "product of the system" then Patty Lalime and Martine Gerber would have Stanley Cup rings as well. Because Ottawa's system was just as good. The goaltenders were not. Well, Ottawa never scored enough for Lalime (0.75 goals/game, in losses, in his last playoff series with Ottawa), but I digress.

If you have watched the last 30 regular season games + playoffs, Cam Ward has been far and away the better goaltender among the last four. It will be an interesting contrast in the Canes-Pens series. The Pens have outscored their two opponents while getting OK goaltending, while the Canes have battled hard and gotten outstanding goaltending from Ward. Should be a good one.
