I asked that question last year and I was told you use max ESC for the last 2 holes.

No sorry Indio. It's par plus any handicap strokes you'd get on the unplayed holes.
Minumum 13 holes played to apply this.

From the Handicapping FAQ on the RCGA website.

    Q. What score do I post for a hole not played?
    A. If a player does not play a hole or plays it other than under the Rules of Golf (except for preferred lies), their score for that hole for handicap purposes shall be par plus any handicap strokes the player is entitled to receive on the hole. When recording this hole score, precede the score with an "X".

LOL where to hell were you when I asked that question! Thanks for correcting me Dan.... it was a bad round anyway so the 2 extra double bogeys didn't hurt

Ok so how do I find out what handicap strokes I add on those last two holes.

If your course handicap is 13 (after accounting for tees slope / rating) you'd get a stroke on the holes handicapped 1-13 on the scorecard. Add the stroke to par (card a bogey)

for example: if the 17th hole is #3 handicap, score bogey. If the 18th hole is #15 handicap score a par.
