    Titleist AP1 Irons

    Just tried some and I'm sold. Very nice looking at set up compared to my BB irons. Unfortunately went to try some MP 100's but didn't have any lefty in stock. Is it premature to be buying better irons now before my handicap lowers?

    You'd be fine hitting the AP1s, they're pretty forgiving and I wouldn't call them a players iron. Anyway, it's your short game that is keeping your handicap high right now, not your iron play.

    Don't call myself a player yet Looks like after the next 4 rounds...my hdcp is going to skyrocket.
