How to make a golf net

So i'm thinking of setting one up in my back yard so I can practice my swing without going to the range. I was thinking maybe standing up a couple of wooden beams maybe 10ft high and 10ft apart, then attaching the thickest net I could find or like a tarp or something.

That's just my general idea... I was wondering if any of you guys have nets set up or any better ideas.

I think there was a thread on this a while ago.

If I were going to do it I'd make the frame out of ABS pipe and then just hang a tarp over the horizontal bar.

I was thinking the same thing. I figured on going to Ritchies and buying some of the plant nets they have---then getting a long piece of steel re-bar--say 1/2 " and threading it through the net. Stick both ends in the ground and "Voila" I have seen that netting in various weights as well---and it does not rot in the sun.
