Avery the idiot still at it...
This guy will never learn... complete idiot.

He looks around to make sure the zebra are not watching him and he hits Thomas. Then he knows that Thomas will come after him so he looks back...
IDIOT...If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

Beautiful!! Classic agitator!!
Glad to see that no one has a problem with Thomas throwing punches with his blocker on
But I guess little balance when handing criticism is too much to ask for...........

I would have been just as happy to see Thomas break Avery's jaw after that bull.
Avery hit Thomas with a weapon first, so Thomas was just responding in kind. Me, I might have just taken a leg off with that goalie stick. We should praise Thomas for his restraintWannabe Golf

I'm sorry, but Avery completely had that coming. It is a goalie's right and duty to defend himself, and using the blocker as a weapon is perfectly acceptable provided it's in self defence, or as a direct retaliation for some idiot hitting you in the back of the head during a tv timeout. When you make the decision to go after the goalie, you do so well aware of the fact that their primary weapon of defence is their blocker, and they WILL use it. Avery was lucky not to get his face permanently imprinted on the ice at MSG after that move.

I wouldn't be surprise if he is out for the rest of the regular season.
It was premeditated, he is looking first to see if the referees are watching...If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.

So were the cheeseboards Thomas threw in return.

It's the principal. You don't do that to a goalie, and you certainly don't do it while he's stretching during a tv timeout. I don't have a huge problem with what Avery did, but as soon as he does that, he's fair game for just about any kind of retaliation you can throw at him.

It would be interesting to see a psychological profile of Sean Avery, the hockey player. He is perpetually in an apparent state of conflict with himself and others: talented, but without self-control; bright, but prone to acts of unbelievable stupidity: crafty, but lacking in real cunning; aggressive and, at the same time, fearful. This is not a player I'd want on my team, but others more knowledgeable than me have had no hesitancy in hiring the guy. I'll never figure this game out.
