Question removing head from graphite shaft

I have a 7 wood that I would like to remove the head from the graphite shaft. I don't care about damaging the shaft but do not want to damage the head. How do I do it?

Low heat (like a paint stripper gun) and try not to leave it too long on the paint. Keep rotating the head and slowly pulling them apart. If you don't care about the shaft, you don't need a proper shaft puller, just your hands and an oven mitt.

Chances are that you will end up having to drill it out if you do what is suggested re: graphite fibers and twisting

It would seem to me if you don't know how to pull a shaft you would not post a reply...
