Stat tracking - help with scenarios
Hi,
I have a question regarding two stats.
Up and Down?
Does an up and down have to be a chip/pitch onto green and then a one putt?
Is it an "up and down" even from 100 yards (say my 3rd shot on a Par 4)
And what happens if I have mess up my first pitch and need to chip on AND then one putt? Does that mean I still did an Up and Down?
And would that be "1 for 1" OR really "1 for 2 attempts".
Sand Save?
If I do a sand save is that also considered an Up and Down?
Lastly.
Is an up and down just for 'saving par'.
It is a valid stat even if I make an 8 on a par 4. Is that correct?
thanks

Any shot that is not played from the green, then a putt into the hole for par or better is an "up and down".
A sand save would be an up and down.Life dinnae come wit gimmies so yuv got nae chance o' gitt'n any from me.
