GPS App for BB and iPhone

For all of the Blackberry and iPhone.

The list of Ottawa Area courses is pretty good. They even have a free 5 round trial.

Gropper has this already. We should ask him how he likes it.

I tried this last year, I think they are just another company that takes the image from google maps and claims your course is mapped and ready to go. This makes it pretty trivial to offer a lot of courses for a low price.

So, as long as you are happy with it telling you the front of the green is 12 yards away when you are already standing on it, then you may like it.

    I thought it was garbage.

Lots of guys seem to like what others don't. Lots of people will also be out there saying things are great when in fact they are promoters of items and will benefit from increased sales of those items.

The bottom line is I actually paid for it (a complete rip off in my opinion), the distances were not even close, and you will have almost no battery left by the time you finish your round (more of an iphone power hungry gps issue).

i dont see any free 5 round trial option....if it works id would buy it but i am very skeptical. Free trial would be essential!

There is a trial for the BB, you may want to check with them for the iPhone.

I've never used it, so I can't comment. When I was using the FreeCaddie application on my HTC, the GPS ate the battery, so I know what that is like. That's the reason I went with the iGolf NEO. My first round ate up like 15% of the battery.
