    Callaway FT-5 c/w Matrix Xcon 6

I have for sale, an absolutely MINT Callaway FT-5 10* Neutral left handed driver. It has seen approx 6-8 rounds and a couple of range sessions.

This driver was a custom order from Callaway with a Matrix Ozik Xcon 6 shaft in stiff flex, and a Golf Pride Multicompound red/black grip. I got a break on the shaft upgrade and it was still $300 extra. http://www.matrixshafts.com/ozik_xcon.html

    First $SOLD takes it.

    You have my attention

I have been considering the new FT-9. I played a around with a premium shafted FT-3 about 3 years ago, and liked it, except for the sound. It sounded like you were hitting with the head cover on, but the ball came off hot.

I haven't hit the FT-5, but if they have sorted out the sound, I am interested. I currently have an older Titleist that sounds great when you hit it flush, but it is only 365 cc, wouldn't mind going to the full 460.

To be honest, I think the sound is an improvement over the FT-3. Everybody has their own way to describe it, but I think it sort of sounds like hitting a baseball with a wooden bat. This is definately a hot face with an exellent upgraded shaft, one of my favourites so far.

I probably had that 365cc Titleist you are hitting as well (983 series). Its definately a nice stick, but the 460cc is a huge improvement in forgiveness and the FT-5 has alot higher MOI.

Let me know if you have any questions.
