Yep. Went today and hit a bucket. They have nice new "grassy" mats to hit off.

I had a conversation with the owner at one point last year - they're strongly considering adding a putting green to their facilities. The main obstacle was the cost of installation and the best way to recoop the investment without charging an arm and a leg for the putting green's use.

I'm surprised that no other range is managed like KH. Only been there once. I liked CB (orleans) no charge cost for the chipping area until last year. But I see that they have to make more money and this justifies their costs. Also you don't get every yahoo out there.

Were they thinking of putting in a real grass green or an artificial putting green?

My understanding was the plan was to install a real grass green to compliment their chipping area

Grass greens require a fair amount of maintenance to keep them nice, so I can understand the reluctance to put one in.

That being said, if they do add one it will be a good addition.

what's a bucket of balls worth at 19th? I was quite disappointed when i showed up to KH to find out that the 10 pack went up $10 and buckets are now $11 each.

I guess I should have expected the increase, I'm sure their property taxes went up as much as the rest of ours.

The medium bucket is 7.50. I picked up my 25 for the price of 20 yesterday.

I can't remember what a large is going for.

Kevin Haimes, 19th Tee, Target, Innes Road Golfland for sure. Cedar Glen has their range and the back 9 open. There may be others.

Good to hear that 19th tee is open now. I was almost calling for checking it.
