Played Pakenham on Saturday...pretty wet...couldn't get off the tee until the 15th, so the round wasn't great at all. But the season is long and I can't wait for it.

Drove by Casslview over the weekend and could not believe how "green" the greens were..they looked nice.

Played Pakenham on Saturday and as previous posts mentioned it was a little soggy, but def playable.

Just called Casselview and they said that they are opening Thursday. 38$ Green Fee (w/o cart) though, which from what I can tell is full price. Could that be, I thought last year they had 2 for 1 or something like that?

Played Presscot again today and it was surprisingly dry.A few wet spots here and there but all and all very good.Greens are nice.30.00.I cant believe Casselview charging full price.Dont get me wrong, they have the best springtime greens but its not in top conditio right now.

Just thought I'd mention that Dragonfly overall was in pretty good shape, with slow, but dry and consistent greens - with the exception of a wet 9th fairway and a very puzzling pin placement on 13. The green was 80% dry, 10% wet and 10% underwater. Guess where the pin was cut???

    Champlain

Did anyone get a chance to play Champlain or LVM in the rain yesterday? Did they even open? What about Casselview? Getting desperate for a game!

    Cheers

Played LVM today and it was soggy
greens were erated from last year but with temps like this who cares. Actually will probably wait to go back for a bit if it rains again and it should, so buyer beware.

$38 green fee today with coupon to come back anytime before may 15th
    I'll go May 14th

Casselview was soggy on the front mostly but,the greens more than make up for it.Not sure what the price was cause we were with GolfXtra but the gentleman we played with mentioned something about paying an amount and getting two games.Maybe ask before, but like I said the greens are just great for this time of the year.

I don't know why more courses don't use hay and straw to cover their greens instead of tarps like Casselview does. Makes for nice spring greens

I thought that was you, but wasn't 100 % sure. Just to add to conditions back was a little soggy as well, and about 6 temp tee boxes to add to that. Oh yeah, the greens nice and are very receptive to Pro V1's !!!!

    Played Raceview today.
    Surprising not bad.
Pretty dry for the most part.

Greens were not in great condition but I never found greens at Falcon Ridge anything special. They were a bit worse than what I have seen during the summer.

2nd hole was a laugh. Ice still on the water and there must have been about 30 golf balls just sitting on the ice.

If someone had a decent ball retriever they could have a blast picking those up.

Played Mapleview today and it's very dry. Only wet area was on #10. As expected the greens are shaggy and slow but very good shape for this time of year. Quite busy for a Thursday.

Just played LVM,9 holes only, could not bare to plat 18.Worst condition I have ever seen it at this time of year, out of 4 courses I have played.Wet,wet, wet and damp!!!!!.Sorry but its not worth it until it dries up.Cant imagine Champlain.Went by Kingsway and the back nine is a pool. Not kidding!!

Thanks for the update Marcos. I'm glad that i went to casselview yesterday and not LVM. I think I'll be waiting for both of them to dry up before I head back.
