I'm in Awe - Best Product of 2008... EVER!!!
I just found out what I'm getting for my birthday in April, even if I have to give it to myself. I'm sure that I'll see our local Heineken Ninja, Sakuraba, lined up at the store when it's released waiting for his as well.
I present to you the Heineken & Krups Beer Tender
Ya Ya, it's been out in Europe for a while, but who cares about Europe...

Looks impressive!
Is Heineken the only brand that is currently available though?

Funny that Philips, a Dutch company, makes one only compatible with Beligian beers. Krups, a German company, is only compatible with a Dutch beer. Weird.

I've been trying to convince the beer cart girl at renfrew to carry one of these around
Or maybe I could incorporate it into a hat
These 5L kegs ARE available that the LCBO, but I've crunched the numbers, its still way cheaper for me to buy my heiny at the King of Beer.Andrew

I heard that Sak is now engineering an auto tilt back chair which allows the user to back up to the end of the bar and simply let the beer flow using gravity into the recipient's mouth. The chair also comes with an height adjust feature for those users who need more or less heigth to gain the preferred angle from the flow and of course an adjustable head rest so that your neck does not get tired.

My only problem with that keg is the price. Its $35 for 5 litres. 5 litres is only about 15 of the heineken 330ml bottles.
For $35 (or less when its on sale) I can get 24 heinys from the aforementionned King including tax and deposit.
Now my only other question is does that keg come in a left-handed model?Andrew

forget this thing and get a kegerator..fits all kegs, and holds more beer. Really, no downsides. (also, they are easy to custom make and save lots of $$)
