Building Up Grips

So I'm re-gripping my clubs and wanted to build up the bottom of the grip to take away the taper a bit when I choke up. Does 3 wraps, four inches from the bottom seem about right to take away most but not all of the taper, just wanted to double check.

If i may make a suggestion, your on the right track with the 3 wrap build up at the bottom , I've build them up with one wrap at 5, 3 and 2 inches from the bottom your taper (or less of in this case) will smoother, just something i've tried.
