i want to hit balls, but don't want to rock up at 9 and be waiting in line for 30-45min just to hit some. Unlike most, 9am IS a battle, so i don't want to waste me Saturday morning to watch someone hit balls.

was surprised that it wasn't busier as well. I was there around 9:30 and I would guess less than half the stalls were being occupied

I'm there! White Bridgestone hat, realizing my new J33Bs are too much club for me.

Watch out for an ad in the "Irons for sale" section!

It was good to hit a few outside. Lots of rust to shake off, but that shouldn't take long. Good to see a few familiar faces.

they are a whole lot of club!! However when you get into the season and start swinging better, you will realise how sweet they are!

I had a feeling that was you beside me quinner. I was the tall guy to your right wearing the orange windbreaker. I heard you talking to your friend about Ottawa Golf. Thought I should introduce myself but thought perhaps maybe you were just somebody that browses OG to see what's happening on the local golf scene.

Yeah for sure that was me. Too bad...had I known I would have said something. Ah well perhaps we will run into each other before the season starts.

I noticed you had some rust on the driver...sure it will work it's way back to normal once you shake the hockey swing out of your game.

After weeks of hitting indoors it was great to see the ball finish its flight. Plus, the sounds of others hitting the ball, the friendly banter and even the smell of the damp grass, added to the enjoyment. Won't be long , but don't put your shovels away yet.

    Hey Marcos
glad you enjoyed yourselves too. I was only there for a about 1/2 hour but it felt good to see a ball travel more than 6 feet before it hits the ground at Golf-O-Max

PatS I'm there! White Bridgestone hat, realizing my new J33Bs are too much club for me.
I see you kept your head down long enough in that pic. So it must be the clubs

If I didn't live so far (600 kms) I would had been there also...

Marcos, this is a true golfer... long drive just too hit some balls... I love it. Good for you. Next time you better bring your wife or you will get in trouble

Keep hitting guys, it won't be long you will be on the number 1 tee!
If you think it's hard to meet new people, try picking up the wrong golf ball.
