IMPORTANT: After you send a PM, the registration process is not over. I send all of your names to Kilroy in order for your account to have the proper privileges to access the competitions tabs and register for the tournament. Once Kilroy confirms this with me, I will send you another PM with a link to the tournaments. From there, you MUST click the Join Tournament link to join the singles tournament. To join the team match play, you MUST first create a team by going to the Team List tab and then you can register the team for the team match play.

A bunch of people will receive a PM from me real soon so I shouldn't be the only one officially registered anymore!!!

Figured out the problem. Remove the extra quotes and the extra http:// in the link and it should work

You can add a team to the team event and find a partner later. However, if you don't have a partner by closing date, your team will be automatically disqualified.

Ok - there seems to be confusion about the team event and how handicaps work so let me give an example:

Team A:
Player 1 - 5 hdcp
Player 2 - 17 hdcp

Team B:
Player 1 - 2 hdcp
Player 2 - 14 hdcp

So the lowest handicap plays as scratch then all other players' handicap is adjusted accordingly
Team A
Player 1 - 3 hdcp (5-2)
Player 2 - 15 hdcp (17-2)

Team B
Player 1 - Scratch golfer (2-2 = 0 hdcp)
Player 2 - 12 hdcp (14-2)

Then each player plays their own ball for the entire hole, i.e. not alternate shot or scramble - the format to use is Fourball - again, you play your own ball for the entire hole

You get one stroke per hole on the most difficult holes. If you net handicap is > 18, then you get one stroke per hole on each hole and an additional stroke per hole based on the remainder of your handicap. Max 2 strokes per hole. For example, Player 2 on Team B gets one stroke on the 12 most difficult holes (as per hole handicap on scorecard).

So suppose one hole is the 6th handicap hole on the course and the players shoot the following score on that hole:
Team A
Player 1 - Par (net par due to 3 hdcp)
Player 2 - Bogey (net par due to 15 hdcp)

Team B
Player 1 - Par (net par)
Player 2 - Par (net birdie due to 12 hdcp)

Therefore, Team B wins the hole due to Player 2's net birdie

If you signed up for the team, your partner must approve it before you're officially added to the team.
