    Using GolfNow.Com

For those who have used this service (golfnow.com) how have you found it? Do the prices shift around at all the closer you get to the tee time? I.e. can you get a better deal if you book really last minute? Typically how far in advance can you book? Any issues when you get to the course?

Starting to think about a trip (ok in the fall, but thinking already).

    Cheers

    Garth

I have used lastminutegolfer.com in Florida which had a lot more courses at first glance. I booked a couple last minute (the day before) and found the prices got cheaper the longer you waited though at popular courses you may be out of luck. I was there last april and there was plenty of choice such that you could book they day before and more or less get a time somewhere, usually approximately the time you wanted to play
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

I was/am lucky enough to have a local who looks after everything for me when I'm in Phoenix. He used golfnow but also got us on his home course where he is a "ranger" aka marshall.
I also sat & his laptop with him, & looked around for area courses & deals @ golfnow & it was great. If I remember correctly, you just pay the proshop when you get there, just as you normally would, but you pay the reduced rate.
