As you are all aware I do my share of buying, selling and trading. I love it, but I can't help but notice the amount of activity now. It's like Nascar and we're in the final laps..
I love it.. people are changing up their bags and moving all kinds of gear.

The only reason there is so much stuff to buy is that Geoff who use to buy everything is a lot more quiet...

This winter... bought a set of irons, about 5 pairs of shorts, 3 hats, 6 golf shirts, balls, ... it has been a good winter.

Just did a count and in the last 2 months I personally unloaded 8 sets of irons..

.. that's not counting drivers, hybrids, fairway woods, putters or wedges I bought/sold..

I feel like I just got rid of a pocket of spare change.. I feel so much lighter.

I think the Canadian economy is so good because of the Ho'ing going on up here.... The Saint, Hacker and Big Easy have supported the Canadian GDP!

Now if they could just manage to mind some good R7 CGB Max fairway woods for me!

Is it me or has the forum classified become a real buyer's market? There are so many iron sets, Driver's, putters etc. available that the prices are almost too good to be true. Where else can you ask $400 for a set of clubs worth $300 and get $200 offered for them?

I find there's lots going up for sale, but not too much buying unless the seller is practically giving the item away.

IMHO I believe the used market is almost saturated for us forum members. Most of us has too many sets of irons, drivers, putters, golf bags cluttering up our basements over the seasons of trading in this forum. Unless one is a collector then....

I hear ya on that one. Perhaps we will have to wait until the actual golf season is upon us for the buyers market to heat up.

Has anyone ever tried to arrange a spring gathering of all the Ho's??

We could get together bringing in the exta gear we have gathered over the winter and turn it into a golf swap and bull sesion.
Most times when I am trading there is no time to actually get to know everyone. It would be great if we could get together at a local golf club (before the season gets under way) If the range and bar is opened even better. We could try out different clubs and get to know every one before the season starts.

What do you think?
