Jose Coceres' Pillow case
What's the story with the pillow case that Jose Coceres displays? Does he only hold it up after he wins or is it something he does after every round?

They said it was a message to his mom. Must have been important, since the post round handshake came second.

He shook Davis Love III's hand and then got the pillow case out. I guess he forgot they were playing threesomes.
Anyway, its nice to see someone want to recognize the folks back home, and I'm sure he didn't mean anything by not shaking hands with everyone before thanking his family and friends.

Hmmm
I did not notice that at the time, but when they played it on Golf Central I thought he pulled the pillowcase out just after the ball hit the bottom of the cup.
I guess I could be mistaken. I certainly do not want to make an issue out of it.
Hats off to Jose Coceres for a great victory in a rich field.

Mr Pillow Case
What I enjoyed best was the look on Scott McCarrons face after the pillow case was pulled out. It's nice for him to win, and recocnize folks but home but...buddy, this is the big tour & you're on national TV. The pillow case is a little too hokey for the PGA. Maybe he should put it on his head. :bablefish

True. He was understandably put off by Jose's lack of etiquette. "Hi Mom" can wait for the interview.
