you are either to short and your clubs are too long OR your clubs are too long and you are too short.
What make are your clubs? "Caterpillar"?

Played Champlain today, and experienced the "monster divot" thing. Wetness in the ground sunk my feet in a bit, and changed the setup position and mechanical reflex of my swing to the point where I was hitting about a half inch lower than I normally would. The result was a lot of "spray-off" and huge clumps of turf (all replaced).
I just think it's too early to really worry too much about it.

divots
that comment about wet ground makes sense, especially if one might be a
bit larger(as myself)..i was playing last year after a particualarly rainy day and all i did
was garden(take big chunks of dirt) with my irons...turned out it was because i was
sinkng into the ground a bit where it was especially wet and that changed my swing to the point that the club now seemd to long/ opnce i realized what was going on i choked down on the club a little and all was fine again...so wait till it dries out more and if you still have a problem..then worry..

Always strive for "bacon strips' not "pork chops."Last edited by BC MIST; 04-10-2004 at 07:40 AM.
