    PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Bruce Edwards, the caddie whose struggle with Lou Gehrig's disease inspired longtime boss Tom Watson at last year's U.S. Open, died Thursday. He was 49.

    That is sad to hear. I'm sure it will be tough for Watson to finish the tournament, but I hope he tries to stick it out.
    If anything good can be taken from it, at least Watson & Edwards did a great job of raising awareness and cash for ALS.

    Bruce was a classy man. He will be sorely missed. Hopefully, the folks at the Masters willl allow CBS to do a timely story on his passing.

    The golf channel did a piece last night...........there should be a group tee off....same as they did for Payne Stewart
