    1st Rd NHL Playoff Predictions:

    Thought we could post our prognostications for who will win each series in the NHL playoffs.

    Here's mine:

    East:
    Ottawa in 6 over Leafs
    Philly in 7 over Devils
    Boston in 5 over Habs
    Tampa in 6 over Isles

    West:
    Nashville in 7 over Wings (big upset)
    St. Louis in 7 over Sharks
    Calgary in 6 over Canucks
    Colorado in 7 over Stars

    Ottawa in 7 over Leafs - Ottawa played most of the season like it was only the warmup
    Devils in 6 over Flyers - goaltending, goaltending, goaltending
    Boston in 5 over Habs - Canadiens are just happy to be playing
    Tampa in 5 over Isles - Tampa is really started to put it all together

    West:
    Wings in 5 over Nashville - Wings have too much firepower
    Sharks in 5 over St Louis - Blues win a playoff series? C'mon!
    Canucks in 7 over Flames - tough pick, but Canucks have gotten over the Bertuzzi thing
    Dallas in 7 over Avs - Stars are peaking at the right time
