    Aussie Open Tennis - Semis

Did anybody get a chance to watch the Aussie Open Semis last night between Nadal and Verdasco? I know its hard because the match is on at 3:30am but I must say it was one of the best matches I have seen in my lifetime. I mean Nadal had Verdasco down SOO many times and this guy was hitting winners that were out of this world.

I would really put this near the quality of tennis that Nadal vs. Federer put up in last years Wimbledon final which was instantly called one of the best matches of all-time by a lot of the tennis greats!

I was trying to watch it this morning, but the GF cut me off because apparently going to work is more important. If we didn't drive in together in the morning I would have poured myself another bowl of mini-wheats and sat back on the couch to enjoy the last set.

ya lets just say I woke up at 3.30 to watch it, after going to bed at 1am and i stayed up to watch the entire match without falling asleep, I was glued to the tube. I just hope that the Federer vs. Nadal match can live up to that match, first meeting of the two of them in the finals of a hard court major. Federer had an easy 3-set match on Thursday that lasted 2:07 and Nadal had a massive 5:35 match on Friday, so I would think stamina is gonna be a HUGE factor.
