Belly. The long putters are called Big Surs.

Then all the shorter 34 and 35 inches Pro Platinum mid sur putters on ebay were cut down? SC never made mid sur putters at 34 or 35 inches?

Some have the weight stamped on the head like 375g in this image. What is the weight if it’s not stamped?

Mid Surs are definitely mid length putters, if a Mid Sur is at 34 or 35 inches, it's been cut down. The putters that have the weight stamped on them in the ebay link, have all had it done by aftermarket entities. I don't think production mid or big surs ever had their weight stamped on them. The one in the picture you link to also has (I would guess) a fake cherry dot on it. I doubt the dot or the weight was put there by Cameron.

As for normal mid sur weights, I think 375g is the correct number. The lie angle on a mid length Scotty is also similar to the lie angle on normal length putters, so they make for a better cut down project than the long putters (whose lie angles are around 80*).

Conversely, does this mean that if I have a SS Newport 2, it can be extended to play as a belly putter without having to alter the lie angle? Would I have to add a ton of weight to the head? I believe I currently have it playing at 340g.

From what I have seen all the SC Mid Sur putters have the standard 4d loft and 71d lie angle and the head is 370g. You will surely need to add 30d of lead tape.

I've never really putted with a belly putter, but I'd imagine it's going to feel light at 340g. The lie angle definitely wouldn't need to be changed.

    Mid Surs I believe are medium-length putters. . . .

Mir Surs are belly putters 41, 42, or 43 inch standard length SC putters.
