Help with splicing speaker wire
Any AV specialists out there who might be able to help me with this. Philips customer support could not give me an answer.
I have Philips HTIB with Sonowave speakers that have a custom plug that comes out of the speaker that you plug into the back of receiver/dvd unit. The speaker wire has 6 colors. Top 3 on the plug are green, orange, brown; bottom 3 on the plug are yellow, red, black. Will they work if I splice to connect to red/black terminal? If yes, which colors go where?
Thanks in advance.

Can you explain what you mean by custom plug?Is it a banana clip? I don't believe the colours matter when you splice them together. Tell me more.
Lots of yoga pants these days, not enough Yoga!
