Hey LBH, can you clarify the team format (Foursomes or Fourball), and explain how the handicaps are applied? Thanks.

Lance, if I didn't have such a hectic summer I'd be your partner in a heartbeat. But I'd hate to let you down having to bail on a scheduled game due to a last minute wedding event.

Handicaps are explained in the Competition Rules section - have a look
Fourball is the format to use - you play your own ball for the entire hole

A lot of people have requested to be added to one or both match play tourneys. I am clarifying the signup process with Kilroy as it involves him due to needing access to member accounts (which I don't have of course).

Please bear with us as I figure out the best process for all. People who requested registration will have priority of course. Continue to send PMs to request registration. It may take a few days but we'll get going fast.

OK that's what I expected. If you want to register for one or both tournaments, Kilroy needs to give your account access to the tournament players group. Therefore, all of you first need to PM me, I forward the day's list of requests to Dan and then I'll send you a link that will allow you to register. When Kilroy adds you to the tournament players group, you will also be able to create or join a team.

The team leader (one who creates the team) can add the team to the tournament even if only one member is added to the team (i.e. yourself) but I will not allow a team to play if the other member doesn't get added to the team before the tournament starts. The team leader needs to be added to the tournament players group (by Dan) before he/she can create a team.
