Changing lofts on irons
How much does making the lofts 2 degrees strong affect the rest of the club, ie bounce, lie? is this somethink i will notice?
Thanks

Don't know if you'll notice it or not, but for each degree stronger you bend an iron, you decrease the bounce by a degree.

i did it
I did it to my Nike Combos. Can't tell a great difference. Only I didn't do the 4 and 5 iron but 1* since their bounce is less. Picked up about 5 yds, but the big advantage was lower flight for the higher lofted clubs.(I tend to be a high ball hitter).

It's a good move if you are a highball hitter, If your irons already have a lower bounce they might dig a little more, what is the reason you are doing it?
